2021 Honda Ridgeline Interior

New interior design of the 2021 Honda Ridgeline

Because there won't be a new Honda Ridgeline redesign, we expect the same, if not similar, interior features and seating configurations moving forward. No changes mean all Ridgeline models include the Crew Cab style that holds five people. Standard features will remain the same, with the possibility of a few additions and updates to previous technology.

All 2020 Honda Ridgeline trucks come as a Crew Cab model. The Ridgeline Crew Cab leaves room for five people to sit comfortably. 2021 Honda Ridgeline Exterior Design

The 2021 Honda Ridgeline size should not change. The exterior dimensions should continue to measure 210″ L x 79″ W x 70-71″ H, including the 5'4" truck bed. All Honda trucks, including the same 18-inch tires, should still provide the option between seven unique exterior colors, the same as 2020.

2021 Honda Ridgeline Safety Ratings & Features

Safety ratings are not yet available for the 2021 Honda Ridgeline, but we don't see much change in regards to advanced safety equipment. The Ridgeline should come with plenty of standard features as it did in 2020. Look for lane keep assist, a rearview camera, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and road departure mitigation as a part of the Honda Sensing safety suite.

2020 Honda Ridgeline Safety Ratings & Features

The NHTSA gave the 2020 Honda Ridgeline a perfect five-star rating, alongside the IIHS, which listed it as a Top Safety Pick. Standard safety equipment includes lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, road departure mitigation, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and a rearview camera. The Honda Sensing safety suite is a very impressive bundle of driver-assist technologies.

2021 Honda Ridgeline Rumors: Redesign & Type R?

While the American Honda Motor Company has not confirmed any rumors yet, we have heard plenty. While the second-generation Ridgeline was recently introduced in 2017, there are still rumors of a complete redesign coming soon. Whether that new Ridgeline generation debuts in the 2021 model year or later, we aren't sure yet. However, it doesn't appear that this will happen in 2021. We have also heard about a possible addition of a 2021 Honda Ridgeline Type R model. If this does happen, which looks unlikely at present, a Type R Ridgeline would have more power, a sportier appearance, and be a great competitor for off-road Ford Rangers and TRD Tacomas.
